Owner Background

When Chris and wife, Kelly, formed District Utility Construction, they combined his extensive construction experience with her legal and business training. Chris graduated from the University of Arkansas with a business degree in finance and real estate, and then earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  Having worked in the construction industry for over 25 years, he has expertise in utility, commercial, and residential construction.  He began his career as a project manager for a commercial developer and worked his way up to become the vice-president of a large utility contractor.  Kelly graduated from the University of Arkansas, then completed law school at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

They believe that what makes a business thrive is the hard work and passion that drives it. They chose to specialize in this niche construction field and they are devoted to it. They are fortunate to have an outstanding team of highly experienced operators who are committed to quality and safety working alongside them.
